Numerous initiatives are calling for the acceleration of sustainable development goals. In September 2019, 30 banks led the development and signing to the UN principles for responsible banking designed to align business strategy to society’s good. The principles, found at unepfi.org provide the framework for a sustainable banking system and helps industry demonstrate how it can make a positive contribution.
